After my husband, Walt, had his second TIA (mini-stroke), we knew some life changes were called for and that we needed a holistic doctor to outline a program. Walt also had issues with arthritis, blood pressure, and cholesterol, the latter two of which were being treated by drugs...I asked my healthiest friend who doctored her and she referred me to Frank Trombetta.

Frank got Walt’s attention immediately when, in 10 minutes or so, he cured a back pain that five different doctors had tried unsuccessfully to treat. He then suggested dietary changes and identified Walt’s food allergies. He found potentially deadly levels of homocysteine in Walt’s blood, and prescribed therapy for that. Walt was able to get off the statin drug for cholesterol.

After getting Walt on a healing track, he took on our daughter. After several courses of chemotherapy, she had gained 100 pounds despite eating very little. Her doctors were ignoring her symptoms. She came from Illinois to North Carolina, where Frank took her history, checked her blood work, and immediately identified her problems. With proper supplementation and a modified diet, she has now lost 45 pounds in less than six months, is innervated and enthusiastic. She eats well, much more (food) than before, and feels great! There is further testing in her future. Frank counsels her long distance.

Then Frank started on me, with my family history of arthritis, senile dementia and heart disease. He has also treated me for a lingering upper respiratory infection and for a stress related gastrointestinal episode. Among other things, he has tested my food allergies and heavy metal levels, with some startling results. One at a time, we are dealing with these issues.

For my pain, Franks opinion was that I needed “body work” and referred me to Rowan Farrell. She is not only a talented masseuse but also a midwife and specialist in the healing arts. With the aid of massage and homeopathy, my physical function and pain level are greatly improved and my pain negligible.

Both of these professionals treat the whole individual. When Frank feels that we need to see our MD, he is quick to suggest it. Our M.D. is a kind a caring man who listens and is responsive. Nevertheless, he has never even thought of attacking our problems in such a proactive manner at such a fundamental level. We are lucky to have access to a full range of services.
